Weima's new briquetting technlogy: Self Diagnostic

Weima, who are probably the leading worldwide manufacturer of briquetting presses and shredders, now extend across their well known range of circular and rectangular range of briquetting presses the new state of the art technology - SELF DIAGNOSTICS.

SELF DIAGNOSTICS, incorporated within the machines hydraulic and PLC equipment is complemented by the Weima unplug – plug replacement part system. In the unlikely event of a component failure, this system can greatly reduce machine down time, service engineer call out costs and lost production time.

With over 20,000 installations worldwide, including more than 890 installations in the UK, Weima has been successfully manufacturing briquetting presses and shredders for over 25 years.

The Weima range of briquetting presses is designed for processing throughput volumes up to 1500kg/hour dependant on the material being processed, of not only wood shavings and sawdust but also paper, cardboard, straw, seed husks, aluminium, copper and brass swarf’s, at a maximum moisture content of 18%. All current in-house demonstration briquetting presses are fitted with SELF DIAGNOSTICS and current available at advantageous ex-demonstration discounted prices.
