We are most impressed with the throughput rates of this new generation shredder”.
Malcolm Fletcher, Chairman Fercell Engineering says, “We value our strong business relationship with Jonathan and MDJ Light Brothers and are greatly encouraged as this is another installation of the new Spider HRS with a leading UK specialist recycler. This was a concept to commission solution providing system design, delivery, installation and commissioning, reflective of our one stop shop capability”.
The Weima Spider - so named due to its eight – supporting legs – will process HDPE and LDPE plastics carpet and film, capitalising on the innovative double modular system enabling rapid materials change sequences. Just one of the numerous inclusions in this ingenious series of three versions of a single shaft shredder.
Principally the Spider HRS is equipped with an interchangeable pressing system designed to handle a variety of materials to include; lumps, film, sheet and hollow moulds. The modular pressing systems are quick to replace and a hydraulically-driven swivel screen basket system helps prevent jamming materials between rotor and inner screen wall, making it effortless to tailor to different material flows.
